Si tienes cualquier duda, escribe a [email protected].

Last updated: 25 October 2026 · Beta 2.2

Draft pending legal review.

In short: what you write in Céntrate stays on your device. There are no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and the people who make the app cannot see your data. Céntrate is a wellbeing and organisation tool, not a medical device.

1. A wellbeing app, not a medical device

Céntrate helps you organise your day, get started on tasks and rest without guilt. It is made for anyone, and especially for neurodivergent people.

If you ever feel unsafe or in crisis, please contact your local emergency services (112 in the European Union).

2. Privacy policy

Who is responsible

Céntrate is developed by Sergio Montero Martínez, who can be reached at [email protected]. You can write to that address with any question about this policy.

What data the app uses

To work, Céntrate keeps on your device what you give it:

Some of this data may say something about your wellbeing or health. That is why it never leaves your device.

Where it is stored

Everything is stored only in the app's internal storage on your device. Céntrate has no servers of its own and no user accounts, and it does not send your data to anyone. The developer cannot see it.

On Android, the app turns off automatic cloud backup and device-to-device transfer, so your data is not copied unless you decide to copy it.

Sync with Google Drive (optional)

If you turn it on in Settings › Vault, Céntrate saves a copy of your progress in your own Google Drive, in a hidden app folder that only Céntrate can open. You sign in with your Google account and grant access to that folder only: Céntrate cannot see the rest of your Drive.

The copy goes straight from your device to your Drive. It does not go through any Céntrate server and the developer cannot see it. Google stores it under its own privacy terms. You can disconnect it at any time and, when you do, delete the copies from your Drive.

What Céntrate does not do

Backups (Vault)

From Settings, in the Vault, you can export your data to a file. On Android it is saved in the Documents/Centrate folder on your device; in a browser it downloads like any other file. That file is yours: you decide where to keep it and who to share it with. If you upload it to a cloud service or send it through a messaging app, that service's terms apply. When you import a backup, the app only reads the file you choose.

Voice dictation

If you tap the microphone to dictate, Céntrate uses your system's speech recognition. On most Android phones this is Google's service, and in a browser it is the browser's own service. That service may process your voice on its servers, under its own privacy terms.

Voices and read-aloud

The companion's voice and the guided-break voices are recordings that ship inside the app. They were created once with a speech-synthesis service (ElevenLabs) from lines written by the team, without any user data. Nothing is sent when you listen to them.

The read-aloud option uses the speech engine installed on your device. Céntrate passes it the text you want to hear. Some engines may use online voices depending on their settings; you can choose the engine in your system settings.

Permissions the app asks for

You can remove any permission in your device settings. The app keeps working without that feature.

Web version

If you use Céntrate in a browser, the server that hosts the app receives the normal requests needed to download its files (for example, your IP address), like any website. Your usage data is still stored only in your browser.

How long data is kept and how to delete it

Your data is kept until you delete it. To delete all of it, uninstall the app or, on Android, go to system Settings > Apps > Céntrate > Storage > Clear data. In a browser, clear the site's data. Backups you exported are deleted separately, from the folder where you saved them.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete and port your data, and to object to its use. As everything is on your device, you can do this yourself: view and change it in the app, export it from the Vault and delete it as explained above. For any question, write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or the authority in your country.

Children

Céntrate is not directed at children under 14. If you are under that age, please use it with a trusted adult.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything important, we will update the date above and let you know inside the app before the change takes effect.
